Lake Shore Gold Hoist Room
CHARTRAND EQUIPMENT was in charge of completing not only the hoist room, but also the collar shaft and collar house foundations.
This job included all the excavation, drilling, blasting, concrete foundation, installation of water lines for feed to the plant and subsequent discharge into the settling pond, as well as the installation of a 2.4m underground culvert which extended from the collar house to the hoist room.
Our hoist room site services included water and sewer for the building, all of the drilling and blasting for the foundation, all of the concrete footings and most of the foundation for the hoists. The containment concrete foundation and slab for the hydro transformer were also completed by Chartrand.
