CHARTRAND EQUIPMENT was hired by the Township of Black River Matheson to rehabilitate the Wavell Road Bridge.

The scope of work included removing the running surface, removing the laminated deck and installing a new pressure treated laminated deck. The work further included the addition of a new running surface and curb, replacing all the damaged diagonals, realigning the pile caps, replacing both ballast walls, replacing rotting and missing nosing timbers, along with the addition of a 12” steel nosing plate on the south side of both piers.
