In co-operation with GoldCorp Inc., CHARTRAND EQUIPMENT constructed a new spillway at the No. 6 Tailings Basin site to prevent the dam from overtopping.
Major work included clearing and grubbing the footprint of the tailings dam, excavation of organic materials, preparation of the bedrock materials, construction of the embankments, and construction of the new graded pipeline benches.
