The Corporation of the Township of Black River-Matheson hired CHARTRAND EQUIPMENT for the reconstruction of 4th street.
The work involved jack and boring 35m under a stretch of Highway 11 and 24m under the railway tracks running across the Highway. The work also included replacing 34 m of a 150 mm PVC water main and 257 m of a 250 mm PVC pipe. The scope of work also included the careful task of pipe sterilization and water testing upon completion of the pipe replacement which requires provincial certification.
